The American Hindu Association was founded in 1997 to provide leadership and opportunities for members of the Hindu community of greater Madison to preserve, espouse and enhance the cultural, religious, educational and social needs of its members. The AHA helps promote the practices of Hinduism, sponsors religious festivals, and provides yoga and meditation to support personal and spiritual growth.
