Mooyah is a fast food burger restaurant started in 2007 in Plano, TX.  It features never frozen made to order burgers, fries and shakes in a setting conducive for families with children.  Mooyah currently has franchises in 22 states and 6 international locations.  The Fitchburg Mooyah opened in April 2015 and was the first Mooyah franchise in Wisconsin. Since then a franchise in Madison and in Sun Prairie have opened.

The Fitchburg franchise, located in Orchard Pointe near Target on McKee Rd (PD) west of Verona Rd, was owned and operated by Randy Bergson.  He had prior experience in managing Hardee’s and Culver’s restaurants before opening three of his own Subway shops in southern Wisconsin.  His sons Lucas and Josh helped manage the stores.
