Aaron Leeder started the progenitor of Noble Knight Games when he was working at the General Motors plant in Janesville, WI. When not working or playing Dungeons and Dragons, he would look for books and games going out of print. He put the items he acquired on a website called Aaron’s Out of Print Games. As time passed, he filled up shelves, then rooms and eventually he rented a 3,000 square foot storage facility before building a 6,000 square foot building in Janesville, WI. This led to multiple storage buildings. Finally, he decided he needed one large building which was built along the quickly expanding Commerce Park commercial area in Fitchburg.
The building, containing more than 1,000 shelving units to store the company’s more than 300,000 new and used games, also contains tables to play games and rooms for larger groups of people to play. Themed game nights bring in more potential customers. Their inventory has games for all ages and 300 to 400 orders are shipped each day including shipments to other countries. Aaron’s brother Dan Leeder has taken control of the day to day operations of the company and they continue to add employees to meet the ever increasing business.
