Tara Ingalls

Founded in early 2000 by Tara Ingalls, Tingalls Graphic Design has come a long way from its beginnings. When Tara first began in graphic design, her drive to produce creative solutions for a variety of businesses and start-ups guided her career. Affordable, quality design with a fast turnaround was just not being offered. That soon led to her opening her now thriving business.

Through networking and word of mouth, the client roster snowballed. Tara began actively marketing to not only start-ups but to established businesses and non-profits all over the Dane County area. To meet the growing needs of local entrepreneurs and the unique brands in the Fitchburg/Madison area, Tara keeps her business close to home. She moved to her current location in 2013 and has been a happy resident of the Fitchburg community ever since.

A Commitment to Community
As part of her business platform, Tara has positioned Tingalls as a leader in promoting faithfulness to the community. She knows that community service is just as beneficial for her business as it is for the surrounding neighborhood. The benefits go well beyond the bottom line. The Tingalls team is given multiple opportunities to volunteer within the area and provides 100s of hour of pro-bono design services annually through the firm’s Giving Tree Program.

Rather than focus just on routine, Tara makes it possible for her team to keep their eyes open to the latest technology.  Encouraging professional development and continuing education within her staff is crucial. It’s yet another innovative way the company keeps up with the constant stream of change design brings. The group has worked hard to maintain its edge and have an extensive portfolio of results to show for it.

Award Winning Graphic and Website Design
The team’s hard work was acknowledged when in 2016 they received the Dane County Small Business Award. This prestigious award focuses not only on financial success but a commitment to community. It honored the dedication the team has to pro-bono design work and positive company culture.

Tingalls was also awarded the Executive Choice Award for Best Website Developer four consecutive years in a row (2015 – 2018) by InBusiness Magazine. And they were recently recognized for website design with a Silver Addy for B2B Website Design.

Today, the business continues to build on those critical milestones. They’ve become known for offering high-end, professional design with a five-day turnaround. In 2019, the firm will hit it’s 1,100^thcustomer.
